What is a Beryl Stone?
Beryl is a fine stone (formerly known as a semi-precious stone), belonging to the silicate group, cyclosilicate subgroup. Its name comes from the Latin beryllus "crystal the color of seawater." Its large gem family offers a very interesting range of colors, such as pink for morganite, blue to blue-green for aquamarine, bright yellow for heliodor. We compose these stone strands by combining our different soft-colored beryls. It has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale.
Too Many Beads?
If you only want to create jewelry prototypes and need samples, or if you find that our beads on string are too numerous for your needs, we recommend taking a look at our individual beads. Classified by shapes, they will allow you to create prototypes as well as unique gifts to offer, such as men's bracelets and/or women's necklaces.
