What is Hematite Stone?
Hematite is a gemstone (formerly known as a semi-precious stone), it is a gem with a very characteristic metallic color ranging from gray to black. Its silver reflections give a modern look to jewelry and it is very suitable for men. Hematite is associated with blood and therefore vital energy because hematite powder was used as a red pigment. The main deposits are found in the United States and Canada. It has a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale.
